I have worn both a Safariland 6004 for my M9 and a Blackhawk Omega something or the other. I liked the 6004 OK, but the Blackhawk rode way too high up and was uncomfortable. The problem with tactical leg holster is that they look ridiculous if you are not crawling through the mesquite wearing body armor and a vest or chest rig, and they are not very comfortable when you are crawling around in the mesquite.
I am switching to a regular M12 holster on my pistol belt and/or some sort of holster on my chest rig/vest for the tactical thing.
For me the answer when not doing the tactical thing is a simple belt holster. A Fobus Paddle or Uncle Mikes nylon makes a dandy range holster.
(I am looking at an old school tanker shoulder chest rig thingy that seems top be the rage in the sandbox for the cool factor. And maybe try the leg extension to make the m12 drop leg tacticool)
I am the only one who knows that I look like an idiot in front of the mirror wearing some of that crap.
