Does anyone know where to find a lefty holster for an M40? Kydex, or a custom fast draw holster? I have an Uncle Mikes now, it works for camping, keeping the gun safe, but I would like a carry holster that is easier to draw from.
Thanks

Hey, I'm lefty too. Blade Tech makes Kydex holsters. They also make a good holster if you are female that hangs over the hip a little farther out...the problem is it takes about 6 to 8 weeks for delivery due to there federal commitments... and they aren't cheap....I'd say they are over priced, but if you want Kydex these are one of your choices. I've been hearing the kydex has been breaking in Iraq and more of the guys going to leather...but if I were you I'd go with the custom leather myself.......there are many makers on the list here, somewhere in the modules list on the left of your screen...a huge list. Good hunting!

I have what you are looking for.

It is a Bianchi Accumold size 10 Hi-ride leftly.

I think it was originally made for one of my S&W autos.

It is a lefty so it never got used.

It fits my M-40 perfectly.

The top strap even snaps and the thumb break is easily and quickly unsnapped for quick draw from holster.

Re-snapping it while wearing it is more difficult than it should be, and the only reason why you wouldnt think this holster was made expressively for a Steyr , but it can be done with little effort. To remedy this the back strap velcro would need a small extention.

$25 shipped in Conus.

I will take paypal.

send me an email: [email protected]
