L9A1 Frame/Slide Gap?

I've read that the gap between the slide and frame on the new L9A1 series pistols is much more pronounced than previous versions of the gun. I wonder if any of you owners could break out a micrometer and put a number to that? Any info would be appreciated!

Hi Syntax, it definitely is....although i don't have a micrometer to check it with. It's definitely noticeable to the eye, tho.

I also agree it's noticeable to the eye, although I didn't see it in the photos before I first saw the gun in person. Doesn't bother me though -- I like the gun anyway and it shoots fine.

I dont own a micrometer...but using an old school watch ruler in mm. Letting gravity do its work on the plastic frame.....the widest part on the right side of the gun is 1mm about exact. The left side is about 1.8mm. It varies the length of both sides. So I cant be precise...using a ruler in 1mm increments but it gives you an idea. Sorry I couldnt be of more help.
