Back when these guns first came out I had a brief email discussion with Wilhelm Bubbits the designer of the series. He mentioned the subcompact XS at that time and didn't think it would ever be able to be imported. I have never seen a prototype. Supposedly it was roughly 6"x4" in 9mm if I remember correctlly. Anyway, the point being we need 'em in all sizes like the Glocks! Steyr are you listening? Thanks. :D

I could not agree more.

My S9 is easy to conceal, but smaller is better, IMHO.

If we could get an XS model, maybe 1/2" shorter in barrel & grip (just like how the S is 1/2" shorter all around compared to the M), I'd buy one in a heartbeat.

Wanna know the best part? The 9mm could still have the same 10+1 capacity. The baseplate of the S9 magazine is not the smallest Steyr makes; the smallest is on the M9 hi-caps, and the S40 magazines.

C'mon Steyr. Stand and deliver!
