Hucka(D) is NOT a fiscal conservative. merely religiously conservative.

He is a Christian Socialist running as a Republican due to the Democrats current militant atheism and pro-infanticideism.

As Governor, he raised taxes more than Bill Clinton did.

He also pardoned a huge number of convicts.
Most famously, one rapist who wrote to Suckerbee about how he "found Jesus".
Suckerbee let the con out over the objections of the ENTIRE parole board.
Less than a week after being released, the scumbag raped and murdered a woman.

If that ain't bad enough, he is so pro open border that he openly joked at a Hispanic rally about how they were going to replace white people and AMERICAN CULTURE .

I'll say it again, there's only two things Republican about the Huckster.
His Right to life stance and open embracing of Religion as an influence on his thinking.

Notice, I didn't say his religious convictions made him wary of federal power, the use of it to "help make people better" or the confiscatory taxes it takes to run such a leviathan.

He is Jimmy Carter reborn as a "R".

Those are precisely the reasons that make me queasy to even think about the Huckster as the Republican nominee. And you might also notice how all the MSM "objective journalists" just love him. They'll puff any Republican they figure the Democrats can beat in November.

At first blush, I liked Huckabee. After all, I'm a Baptist, too. But a closer look at his record doesn't find a whole lot of difference between him and that other famous Arkansas governor who wanted to be president. Except that Huck may be even worse than Clinton in office. Well, maybe that's an exaggeration. Hard to imagine worse than Bill -- except for Hillary!
    :stupid:

And that is exactly why they ignore Thompson, he scares the crap out of them. They hope to inflict a death by silence.

Problem is Romney, Guiliani and McCain are all just as bad and all the Democrats are worse.

At least with Huckabee I don't have to worry about him taking my guns too.

That said, I haven't given up on Thompson yet ... I just wish he wanted to be president as bad as we want him to.

If Huckabee is the GOP candidate, I'll have to hold my nose to vote for him.

If McCain is the GOP candidate, I'll have to hold my nose to vote for him, and then go get a couple drinks.

If Guiliani is the GOP candidate, I'll have to get drunk first, then hold my nose and vote for him.

If Romney is the GOP candidate, I can't vote for him, so I guess I'll either not vote at all, or I'll vote for whatever idiot the LP puts up.
