I have pretty much decided to order a "Slide Guard" model holster from High Noon for my M40. Does anyone have experience with these guys? I have read a bunch of favorable reviews and I have a friend who ordered a "Topless" for his Sig. link here to check em out.

They have patterns for the original M and are working on one for MA1 according to a guy I talked to there. Probably the more questions they get on Steyr models the more inclined they will be to hurry that up and consider one for the SA1's also so feel free to e-mail them through the contact link on the site and encourage them.

My friend has a hidden alley and really likes it. The delivery time was just a couple of days and the holster looks to be alright. I would rank their products closer to the high end of the cheapy spectrum. The clips seem flimsy and the glove leather leaves a lot to be desired, but hey - for the price it's hard to beat.

The Slide Gaurd model seems to be one of their higher end models and I'm sure you will be pleased. Be sure to post pics of the rig!

Be prepared for a very long wait on the "custom" orders, 3 months or more.
They seem to be a bit higher end than Galco but not in the same league as the true custom makers.

have you looked into FIST, they run around 4-5 weeks for delivery and can make almost any style of holster for the Steyr's

I have a Hidden Ally tuckable for my M9 which I received in a couple of days for $35 +. It works well and is a good test platform as it is my first tuckable. It does not fit the way a hand boned top end holster would, and my Glock 19 fits it a tad better; but it is a good value holster to have quickly while you decide if you want to wait 3-4 months for a Milt Sparks or other top end maker.

Which Fist would you recommend for mid to high ride belt slide/pancake style holster for an M and/or S? - Strong side carry at probably 4:00 with FBI cant preferably.
