It seems like there is always a discussion going about the Glock kaBoom issue. It's probably gotten way overblown (pardon the pun), but it got me wondering if anyone has ever heard of a Steyr going kB!

I know about Steyr's improved design with the fully-supported chamber, etc. But has anyone ever heard of one experiencing a catastrophic failure? I know I have not. Just curious.

Never heard of one being reported. That doesn't mean it hasn't happened, just never read/heard about one.

Whats great about Mr. A is that he knows so much about firearms and has used that knowledge to conclude that Steyr Pistols are where its at.

Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside knowing that people with far more knowledge than myself stand behind the Steyr name.
