I usualy wear bdus and just carry my s9 in my back pocket with my tshirt pulled over, works for me i live in aurora IL lots of gang problems so when i go for a walk at night i take my styer just incase :wink:

I would never want to take a life,but i have been around this city for 35 years and i know people and most gang members are looking for recognition so if i run into someone i usualy give it to them.I know alot of people in this city and i get along prety well with most.the only way i would ever pull that gun is if someone pulled one first,and then i will try my best to take that person down without taking there life.I have handled wepons most of my life and i have alot of respect for them.The laws in IL suck but my life or even if i had to help a neighber using a gun i wouldn't even think twice about it ,i would just half to take my chances with the LAW. :wink: [/quote]

otherwise would carry a knife and get some insight on how to use it.

carry properly within the law in Illinois and if you get in trouble you stand a good chance of getting support. dont and the support will be for the express route and if they get you for felony kiss owning a gun goodbye barring a pardon

I imagine your odds are far better of getting caught for illegally carrying a concealed weapon then ever needing to use it. Either way you are in a lot of trouble. Get some OC and a knife.

I tried that game when I was a kid with a switchblade thought along the same lines - they'll never have a reason to search me, so i'll be fine. Sure enough, I was in the wrong place at the wrong time with some friends and got searched and hauled in for the knife. Thank god I was a minor and it never amounted to anything.

I know you don't think it wil ever happen and will continue to carry anyway, but the odds are overwhelmingly against you. I would at least get a quality holster - you're going to come off as a thug or something if you get busted for packin' that thing in your pocket like some wannabe gang banger. Either way, you'd be screwed though.

Maybe if could find a holster for the s9 i would consider that,but i'm talking about walking at night with my dog what are the chances of getting surched?Besides i have some pretty good friends on the local PD.Not to say they would be very happy i was carrying but it would probably help.Besides i rather shoot someone in a non leathal spot than stab them. :wink: The chances are they would probably be cool with me because i am not a banger.

Like in Vancouver Canada, the bangers don't really seem to care if they're searched, or if they carry, or even if they shoot someone. Most of them do. We had a takedown at a Boston Pizza, and three out of six were carrying. The laws don't seem to support the honest people here either.

I don't know about the others on this forum but personally, I do not want to read about your illegal carrying a pistol on the forum and asking questions about it.

Your arrogance is appalling and quite frankly, something I prefer NOT to read about on this forum!

BTW, I CCW a legal permit and a M9 and G19. All legal, all registered! :wink:
