did they change the grip from the older M40's to the new M40 A1's?

Also where can you buy spare parts from?

Thanks..

1) I believe the angle is the same, but it was designed to be more ergonomic.
2) I don't think Steyr Arms has a lot of parts yet, but I'm sure they can order anything you would need.

I have a smaller hand and I tried a Steyr and loved it, biought one off the net and it has a bigger grip and doesn't suit me as well as the old one..
mch,

Ditto on the larger grip on the A1's. They feel "wider" to me, too.

Funny,
I have small hands and like the fit of the A1 better.

seems to tourque less under recoil. I find it too be a better design

Madecov, the picture you have on your posts is that your A1? If so that is the old style grip, not like the new one I got.
That's my M
I had it chromed. I liked the M so much, I just couldn't resist the A1

where would I buy a spare firing pin spring from?

Slides are interchangeable as is, yes? You put the Tripp slide on the A1 yet? I'd love to see that.
