Hi All

I found the site whilst looking up information on the .308 Scout, enjoyed what I read and thought joining and hopefully contributing would be a good idea.
I have owned a Scout in 5.56mm, a superb fox rifle, I have owned an SSG P2 in .243 for 4 years and had the barrel shortend to 17 inches and used with a wildcat sound moderator. This I use for woodland Muntjac, Roe, & Fallow Deer stalking, the shortened barrel makes for a better balanced rifle to carry for several hours. My next purchase this year will be the Scout in .308 for Red Deer stalking on the Scotish hills and wild Boar, I'll keep the P2 though as I enjoy the rifle and it shoots superbly.

Best regards,

Pat

Hiya Pat :)

Welcome ta SC, Bro!

1st off, I love when our Clubbies take matters into their own hands an' make their Steyrs "their own". Cuttin' down a bbl from X" ta 17" takes initiative an' larger-than-normal-huevos. :salute:

You'll find youself right at home here in the SC Global community.

Plz post what's on your mind, Q's an' A's.

Take care, Bro.
