Found a thread regarding the FN P series. The writer was not sure if it exist in the new FN P45. Don t know about the validity of this design flaw regarding the sear pin. Please read and comment on this. http://www.ar15armory.com/forums/FN-FNP ... 6520&st=20 Here is another one. http://fnforum.net/viewtopic.php?t=2198&start=0
Holy Crap..... What a total P.O.S. !!!! :stupid: Better get a Glock instead.....  OK, OK, or a Steyr!!!!! :v :v
Just dug through the FN forum. Only two guys out of over 40,000 pistols sold have reported this problem. Sounds like a rare breakage of some kind to me. However, this quote below makes me happy we have SAI to help us, even if I've never used them (and hope I never will). Why does FN call a place with no service a "service center"?
I own an FNP and have been very pleased with it. Not one malfunction to date, and feeds different types of ammo. There didn't seem to be any "break in" time for it. Pulled it out of the box and started firing. No FTF or FTE. .40SW has 14 round mag capacity. I looked at the seer pin, and there was no problem on my pistol. I can't comment on FNH customer service, since I haven't had to contact them for anything (and that's just the way I like it.) I would rather have crappy service and a gun that works over great service and a crappy gun.
