I picked up my new M9 (one of the Redmond, WA versions)as well as some Tula ammo (aluminum case) and some of my reloads from 1995. The gun is a great fit in my hand and it was quite pleasant to shoot. The Tula ammo didn't do well - 4 FTEs out of 50. The reloads, on the other hand, fed flawlessly. Some were loaded with 231 and some with Bullseye. I was shooting at hinged steel targets. I can see that I need a lot of practice.

Yeah I had problems with Tulammo as well my M&P VTac didn't like it,I probably had 6-8 FTEs.I think that brand of ammo is weak and causing the multiple FTEs.I only had one box and didn't try it in my Steyr.

Congrats on your M9!

I shot it some more today with my reloads with Bullseye and it worked perfectly. I really do like shooting this pistol. A good friend of mine was there with his Glock 22 .40 cal and he let me shoot it, and I quickly decided I liked the M9 better.
I have a S&W M19 which is not nearly as fun as the Steyr, but you don't have to chase brass
with the Smith.:)
