Looks like I have a bad extractor, is there a source for a replacement? The rifle cycles but doesn't extract the fired case. This causes the next round to jam the fired case into the chamber and dents or bends the new round.

Good luck on MSAR extractor. Prob not going to happen. You prob want to check with Steyr and see if you can buy a bolt with extractor.Don't think Steyr will will sell you one. Or check on Gunbroker.com and see if you can get a AR15 hybrid bolt w extractor for cheaper.

Looks like I have to buy the complete carrier and bolt assembly. The good news. it's a straight drop in replacement. Bad, more than I wanted to spend. If I don't buy the Steyr parts, I end up with a bunch of useless (to me) parts. Guess I can put the old or unused parts up on EBay or Gun Broker.

Just the bolt. No need for carrier or firing pin.

Found a Steyr parts kit on Gun Trader for $120. Installed the extractor and spring, my rifle is back in business. Now I need to find a home for the rest of the parts.
