Here are some pics of a new idea for an affordable IWB for the Steyrs.

This one is for the M/S series.
I want to get a little field testing in on this before I start actively selling them, but I'm thinking $19.00 + S&H if it works out.

    BigTaco,
    PM sent.

Just watch out for the fron sight snagging on the holster...

Looks to me like he's doweled a front sight notch, should work pretty well, I think.

I bought a heat gun and some other stuff, just so I'm prepared to start making my own in a few months! Can't wait. I want to make a chest rig a la Survival Sheath for the P3AT and the S9.

after making another and reviewing the material cost and time involved, I'm going to have to go $19.00 on these.
I've been wearing this one all day and it is secure and comfortable. Not quite as vertically stable as the Quick Cover but you have to trade something for the size. It stays tight to the belt on the draw and draws smoothly.

Here is the OWB range version. This one is made from .060" Kydex. The production model will be made with .093" This will also be $19.00.

How well does the OWB version stay planted to your hip?

I, personally, wouldn't use it as an EDC concealable rig. The flop isn't horrible but there is some movement and it does not pull in tight like a slider. It's intended use is as a range holster or for a more comfortable "at home" rig. Hopefully cheap enough to have one for each model you own (eventually) and tossed in the range bag. It would not be bad for winter carry if you are wearing a bulkier jacket or over coat. I would recommend the Yaqui style slider as an EDC OWB rig.

I probably missed it, but how much for the OWB rig pictured?

Hopefully, hopefully, hopefully mine will be here tomorrow, though I'm not holding my breath.

Can't wait to have 'em, pics and review to come!

They really turned into a white elephant.
They are actually more difficult to make than the Quick Cover and there is a lot of material wasted. I would have to charge more for them than I would pay.
I did make a quick Cover with an integral belt loop, ala Mad Dog, for a customer who teaches an SD class and wanted it for retention drills.

So, I guess the answer to your question is "No". I will attempt to make anything a customer wants, but the "economy" quick clip didn't turn out to be very economical.

Ok, Didn't see it on your site, so I figured it was Disco'ed.

I just sold my old M9 to a friend and gave him your #.
This will be his first CCW.
I tried to sell him on the adjustable IWB so he can play with it and see what works, but he's cheap, so we'll see.
