I'm sorry if I'm wrong here or if this has already been covered in a post - I wasn't able to find one going over it in detail - but from my reading over things it seems like there's generations with differences with the Steyr M series. I don't mean the A1 or anything, I've read people talking about having different safety mechanisms or some different things around their trigger, some trigger upgrades, etc.

I was just curious about these generational differences and what people's thoughts on them were. Thank you.

So the difference in the European and a US version the European has a safety that is a part of the trigger guard in trigger itself the US variant does not.
