I hope to meet it's present owner at the range on Sunday to see how it feels, haven't seen any arround here in a while so I can't remember how they feel, may even trade my Glock 19 for it. Any tips on what to look out for on a used one other than the usual stuff?
I'll disagree with madecov for these reasons: Shipping, transfer, and state police records check add another $50 here in OR. If you get to shoot the gun first, and can buy the gun for $300 or even less, grab it. If it is nearly new and he wants ~$325...I'd buy it. My first Steyr was an M40, and it was well-carried. It is a champ of a pistol. Then I grabbed a $350-->$400 M40A1, and it is just as great. They carry well, handle well, shoot well, function well...great guns.
I wouldnt trade a glock straight up for it either. Whether it is better than a glock is irrelevent, glocks sell for more.
