850 rounds in the m9 no cleaning. not even a wipe.

after a week of spring cleaning, that feed ramp is the dirtiest thing i own.

atleast 200 more this weekend, probably 200 more monday/tuesday. keep you posted.

i think it'll fte first. but maybe, it'll ftf.

i was thinking that i should really practice my malfunction drills in case it happens during a stage. but the rate it's going, i don't think it's going to malf until august.

Thanks for the update. What ammo are you using? I think if you use that WinClean stuff, probably never have to clean your M9. I haven't gotten as lucky. Have gotten stopage at 300 to 500 rounds without cleaning. usually FTE and FTF(fire) once from brass flakes in the FP channel. I'm using my own reloads, Rainier bullets over Universal which leaves powder flakes. I can usually tell how many times I've reloaded the brass by the number of dings in the rim from the LCI.

i'll try to make time for science, i mean destructive testing, i mean relaxation this week.
