Hey friends!
I have been on the hunt for a new set of Steyr C9-A1 sights. Back story - I recently had my c9 start building a tiny bit of rust around the print on the slide. After thinking about it I was talking with my friend and I told him, "I am just going to get it reblued or maybe some simcoat or something." he says, "Aw, no way my friend I have reblued guns before. Save your money, I will do it for free!" I couldn't argue with that, I have seen the reblue jobs he has done with shotguns and didn't even think twice. This guy totally jacked it up, didn't take off the sights, the blue he used was apparently nothing but a corrosive or at least thats what it looked like when I got it back. I immediately submitted it to a gunsmith for a reblue and a coat of simcoat protection, but the sights are stained and have excessive buildup of gunk. For the last 2 weeks I have been on the hunt for the trapezoid sights (I fancy them over trijicon, but would love a suresight if it came along.) at any rate, does anyone know where I can find a set of these things? I've tried contacting SAI but to no avail. Where to next?
