I'm right-handed and left eye dominant. I have tried both eyes open, but have not been able to manage it so far.

I use the semi-modified-partial gansta cant 
for my right-handed left eye cross-dominance (which Jim Cirillo also recommends for one-handed shooting in general)

Speaking of Jim Cirillo, I found out yesterday that he was T-boned by a 16-wheeler near Utica, N.Y. in mid-July and killed. What a loss.
