I am sure this is a silly mistake I am making, but after cleaning my rifle I cannot get the bolt to seat back fully into the breach and lock down into place. The small silver firing pin nub (sorry do not know the part name) that extends downward from the bolt sleeve hits against what I believe is an elevated portion of the trigger assembly. (I believe this because it matches where the trigger mechanism would engage the release for the cocked firing pin that extends down out of the bolt sleeve.
Does anyone have any suggestions to help me get the bolt back fully into the weapon?

Thank you for the reply. The bolt will not seat fully with any position of the safety. Gray, white, or red. Needs about another 1/4 inch of forward movement to get the bolt fully seated and the bolt lever lined up with the touch to rotate into the locked position.

I did. I had looked up possible issues and it was discussed rotating the biolt sleeve (back most part that has the cocked indicator pin). That did not allow the full bolt assembly to line up. I rotated it back (strong spring) and it went past the first position to the position for disassembly. I then reassembled and rotated back to correct position. The firing pin is not extended out of the front of the bolt at this time. I can send photos. I also tried inserting the main bolt carrier into the barrel/breach with the sleeve and firing pin assembly removed and it still would not seat fully.
I can send photos.
