I was looking at pictures and noticed the BT guide rod all nice and lined up horizontially (when looking at the front the beveled edges of the tip were lined up horizontally), then I was looking at my guide rod and noticed it was diagnol. I took apart the gun and did not see that this would be an issue as the only job of the guide rod seems to be to keep the spring in place but as I am no gun guru I wanted to ask. The rod does not need to be lined up in any way does it?

Thanks

No, not at all....

...actually, if you rack the slide multiple times [no magazine] you will find that the guide rod actually rotates a few degrees each time....

...nothing to be worried about here.....

the guide rod will twist and turn every time the spring is compressed.

you have to pose her if you want her to look good for the pictures

even guide rods need to be gussied up for the prom.
