I don't know about other countries but the designation here would be AR10, it was never adopted by the US government so it wouldn't technically have an M designation. That and dependant on the model (original with charging knob in the carrying handle, or typical AR charging handle at the rear) wouls also make a difference since the new AR10's haven't been adopted by anybody officially to my knowledge.
