To me, For Steyr mags and not ac unity or magpul I tend to think a sale is at 26 a magazine and 32 for the 42 rounder but I haven’t seen those prices since surplus Malaysian mags came in before the panic buying. Pretty sure those surplus mags were 18 at that time. That said 30 for regular and 38 for the 42 rounder seem to be going prices new right now. A unity mags and magpul can get pretty cheap.

At what price point would you consider 30 round and 42 round AUG magazines to be a deal?

I stocked up on 30’s and 42’s at $7-8 per years ago. For the $$ the Magpuls are good at $17 and under. Steyr ones are good close to $30 if you can find them.
Battlehawk armory has 30 round OEM Steyr on mags for $25.18. You need to add to the cart to get that price as the listed price is higher until you do so.
