Got my ASP red gun of the M. It's a bit larger than the real thing at the the front around the trigger guard and where the serial number would be on the frame. Thus, it won't fit into my HBE Com3. :evil:

I was hoping to be able to use this thing for training with the holster I use now. I would have to modify it (the red gun) quite a bit to make it fit w/o messing up a nice holster.

Anyone else have one? If so did you notice this also? Just currious...

Bummer. I've got one of those holsters on order too...

Can it be filed/sanded/cut down easily? Not sure what that stuff is like.

If you decide to sell the RedGun, let me know- I'll probably paint it black and stick it in a movie somewhere... I'd just get a kick out of being able to throw an M series Steyr in a film project somewhere.

Heh. Just wait for the 2nd Edition to come out- should be early 06 sometime. Muuuuuuch better production value, muuuuuuch better combat (in my oh-so-humble opinion as fight choreographer). And not totally without guns (albeit a plastic airsoft being used in a rediculous manner).

Update- I ended up picking up a solid aluminum dummy M9/M40, of the type supposedly used in making holsters, etc... and it won't fit in my holster either! Wonder if they make 'em big because the leather will shrink or something.

That's odd that it doesn't fit, although I've been using a different type of weapon it is actually more loose in the holster than the real one... can't send it back?
