I recently purchased a new model M9-A1 and was curious to see if there were any significant changes made from the previous models. I previously owned an older steyr that was just badged as an M9 with no further designations. Keep in mind I had no issues with the previous pistol and was actually very happy with its performance. It was accurate, fit my hand well and had very low recoil. I guess what I want to know is...did they mess up a really good gun? I had to sell the last one to help with a car repair and regretted it ever since, mainly because I was unable to purchase another locally. I purchased the new one online and should have it in a few days. Just hoping I'm going to as happy with the new one as I was with the old.

    Welcome back!

From all that we hear here on the site, the new trigger (post 2010 mfg date) is even better.

Thanks. As long as they didn't mess anything up I'm happy.
