Barrels are the same, you can run the slides on each other’s frames but some internal like the ejector are not interchangeable. A1 mags can fit into a A2 but a A2 mag won’t fit into a A1.
Thanks! I’m thinking about getting an M9A2 and I’ve got the A1 with threaded barrel so it’s nice to know it will work in either. I guess I might as well load up on A1 mags since they’ll work in both.
