I need some help trying to value a rifle I picked up last year. It is a German Police AUG 9mm conversion with a Hensoldt ZF HK 33 optic. 16 inch barrel. 98% perfect. Any help would be appreciated.

I’m not sure what it is worth… All I can say is I would be willing to pay $2500 for it… But don’t really need a 9mm carbine..

if you offered a .223 barrel / other components needed to shoot both calibers I would be more likely to purchase and of course pay much more…

A .223 AUG is what I need and the ability to also shoot 9mm would be very cool… A great way to practice with the same rifle for less or use to fill different requirements..

Perhaps other fall into my category and it might be worth adding components to shoot both calibers?

Thank you for the offer. I’m not looking to sell the AUG. I’m aware it is worth north of $5k. I’m curious if it’s worth close to $7k.

$5k - $7k? Wow. Good for you….

And just to clarify I was not making an off… Just letting you know the price point I would consider paying.. ( which is not is value.. as my personal needs and preference are what determine that price)

Kinda of just saying I would be more interested in a rifle that could shoot booth calibers…

Best of luck when/if you decide to sell… It is a very nice example…

It’s hard to say, those scopes were around 800, the 9mm conversions are all over from 2500-3500. I would want to see the marking and know the serial number range on the Aug to take a good guess. New augs A3M1 are still msrp at 2k and A1 brebans from the 90s are up to 4K. So would need to know more to see where it falls. Now those are prices on full aug and a full kit which changes the game a bit. What markings do you have and what serial number range ?
