Picked up my M40-A1. What a beauty. Cleaned it, checked for micro-cracks in slide and frame, lubed. Will go to the range tomorrow. Stopped by the walmart on the way back home. Cheapest ammo - $13.50 for 50. I am used to $15 /100 9mm quality target ammo prices.

Any thoughts on whre to go online for US-made bulk target ammo?

Thx.

Gotta agree on Georgia Arms. Their Canned Heat bulk ammo is very reasonably priced with 500 .40 S&W at $107 per 500. The ammo comes in ammo cans and shoots very well. Of course you have shipping but I'm not familiar with the shipping rates as they are right here in Metro Atlanta.

Hey All!

I get my 357sig from Georgia Arms, can't beat the price and good quality. Everything else comes from Wallyworld!

My advice would be to invest in a reloading rig. A Lee turret setup is very affordable and will pay for itself in a few thousand rounds.
Lee has 2 refurbed 3 hole presses listed for $53.00 http://www.leeprecision.com/html/catalog/surplus.html
Add a set of dies from Midway @ $23.00 and you are on your way.
Repeat after me...Midway is our friend...
http://www.mastercast.net has good prices on bullets and fair prices on reloaded ammo.

From the previous postings here are the suggestions:
Able Ammo
Ammoman
Georgia Arms
J&G Sales
Mastercast
Natchez Shooters Supply
Outdoor Marksman
Sportsman's Guide

Is this list still good? Would you guys ammend it at all? I would assume these places are cheap for most calibers and mfg, not just .40SW
