I can put the fifteenth round in the mag, but it will not chamber, even from slidelock on an empty chamber.
15 rounds in a 14 round mag?

I just received a new 14 rd mag from CDNN. While loading it, I decided to try an extra round and it fit, snug but it fit.
Anyone else have this happen? I did notice however that I can not insert it loaded with 15 into the M9 with a round in the chamber only will only go with 14. Still nice due to the fact that at least I don't have to chamber a round and then release the mag to add another round for 15.

In theory, some have said that the magazines will take 15 rounds after the spring breaks in, but, I have yet to have it chamber as per what Flachef did above. I will only load 14.

Doesn't overcompressing a spring wear it out just like overextending it?
I would think so.
That is why most don't recommend keeping a magazine loaded to capacity 100% of the time.
