NOW THIS IS A STORY WORTH TELLING. THIS STORY EXEMPLIFIES GUN CONTROL AS IT SHOULD BE. Shooting in Butte , Montana Shotgun preteen vs. illegal alien Home Invaders Butte, Montana November 5, 2006 Two illegal aliens, Ralphel Resindez, 23, and Enrico Garza, 26, probably believed they would easily overpower home-alone 11 year old Patricia Harrington after her father had left their two-story home. It seems the two crooks never learned two things: they were in Montana and Patricia had been a clay shooting champion since she was nine. Patricia was in her upstairs room when the two men broke through the front door of the house. She quickly ran to her father's room and grabbed his 12 gauge Mossberg 500 shotgun. Resindez was the first to get up to the second floor only to be the first to catch a near point blank blast of buckshot from the 11-year-old's knee crouch aim. He suffered fatal wounds to his abdomen and genitals. When Garza ran to the foot of the stairs, he took a blast to the left shoulder and staggered out into the street where he bled to death before medical help could arrive. It was found out later that Resindez was armed with a stolen 45 caliber handgun he took from another home invasion robbery. That victim, 50-year-old David Burien, was not so lucky. He died from stab wounds to the chest. Ever wonder why stories like this never makes NBC, ABC,CBS, PBS, MSNBC, or CNN news.... Now that is Gun Control Thought for the day Calling an illegal alien an "undocumented immigrant" is like calling a drug dealer an "unlicensed pharmacist"
Now there's a twofer, two armed criminals and two illegal aliens with some good ol' fashioned "Judge Roy Bean" justice. Sounds heartless to say it, but they got just what they deserved. I've got a friend whose daughter is in a shooting club which is mostly teenage boys. This weekend at the range, she outshot all the boys except two at skeet and trap. I guarantee there was a lot of ragging going on at the high school today for all those poor guys she beat. Every woman -- and every man, too -- ought to know how to defend themselves and others. I did something Sunday evening I've never done before. Put my PF-9 in my pocket before I went to church. After those church shootings in Colorado, I decided I ain't going nowhere, no time without my PF-9 at the minimum and if dress allows, my M357-A1 or G29 also. I'm even thinking of getting out my shoulder holster and trying my Llama .45 for concealed carry.
Now yer talkin' Net. I recall a year or two ago when I said that I carried a gun in church because somebody has to, that someone replied "Nobody has to." Well, maybe nobody HAS to, but somebody should! I always say that if you see me, I've got a gun, either on me, or within reach. I learned long ago that I am not Wyatt Earp--my job is not to make the West safe for women and children. That is the job of the local LEO, God bless 'em. My job is to defend my little corner. I worked out a "church defense plan" with two church friends, one a Marine Corps Vietnam vet and the other a First Cav Vietnam vet. We triangulated our fields of fire to cover the sanctuary. We've never had to use it, but it is there if needed. It isn't foolhardy; it is prudent. Anyway, if the stuff ever comes down in your church, you will be glad you planned ahead. Doc
Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition! ...it used to be illegal to come to church NOT armed :naughty:
What could be better than to have your daughter able, capable and willing to protect herself with an effective weapon? My wife is very fond of her .357 Christmas present.
