I read on another forum that S&W M&P 10 round magazines brake easily because of the plastic baseblated (made to block the capacity)... How durable are Steyr 10 round mads? That's what I have and shot about 600rnds thu each and they seem OK, did any one brake theirs?
havent seen S&W M&P 10 rnd mags. I have more Steyr 10 rnd mags than I would care to and they are strong. I do have a S&W 40ve 10rnd mag and its nothing like a Steyr 10rnder. has bends and cuts in the mag body to prevent tampering and a very funky spring. taken a hammer to some M40 10rnd mags to make M9 12rnd mags have no doubts to durability of the mags.
I only have 3, but 2 of them have about 500 rounds thru them and have been fully loaded for CCW for a couple of years with no sign of problem.
