ive been wearing my M and MA1's here in florida for years. For the first time i noticed that the sweat had gotten into my mag release and caused issues with rust and malfunctions of the release. I am left side carry, so the right side of the pistol was against my body. In particular it was the...

As I mentioned elsewhere, because I've moved away from the .40 caliber, I am hoping to trade my M40s for M9s once the classified section is working again. In the meantime, I've sold off a couple of other guns, and so I decided to modernize the Steyr collection: Yesterday I picked up an M9-A1...

Hi, folks. I've been a long-time owner of the Steyr M -- I have two M40s that I got right after they came out. But over the years I have moved away from the .40 and now in autos I shoot mainly 9mm and .45. I've sold off most of my .40s but it has occurred to me that since I really like the...

Had my choice between a "very new" M9-A1 (3 10 round mags w/box), and a used M40-A1. Picked the .40, SMI import, s/n 04708x. 2 12 round mags, no box. What do I need to know? Right choice? Thanks in advance! Gary Semper Fi Semper Fi - Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

I thought about picking up an M9-A1 a few years ago, but held off because of the problems I was reading about. Mostly FTF and ejection issues. I haven't read about any problems in a while. Are the new manufacture M9-A1s good to go?

Trellix Tactical out of Plano, TX has L9-A1's in stock. Spoke to Phil, very amiable guy. Price is definitely good to go. Just a heads up for any of you who would rather deal with a human than Gunbroker. :salute:

Hi there, as the title says, the edge of the feed ramp of my M9A1 (Frankensteyr) just broke (it's a small piece) but the gun is only 4,000 rounds give or take a few hundred. And living where I do, it's nearly impossible to get a new barrel. Also the paperwork for getting a new barrel is hell...

I was turned onto cz from this forum and ended up buying a canik shark-c from buds in od green. I heard they are better quality than some of the cz's. Anyhow I am pleased with it and have already upgraded the springs on it trying to improve the double and single action trigger pull. Which...

Anyone have a source for adjusting the trigger on the SSG? Both my 04 and my 08 have 3 screws and manual doesn't help any. I searched forum, google and YouTube. I played around blindly with my 04 many years ago, and managed to somewhat get it to my liking. Unfortunately I don't remember which...

Hi everyone, I live in North Carolina and own an SSG04-A1, Pro Hunter, and just recently purchased an SSG08. All 3 in 300 win mag. Hope to meet up with other NC long Range shooters. "Ex Umbris Venimus"

This may be a stupid question, but it seems stupid to me that owners should have to spend money to fill that ugly hole thats still there once the mag is inserted.. Is there any reason that they were manufactured like this?

Hi all, just checked-in and happy to be here in good company. Almost two decades ago I fell in love with an SSG PIV, but it was short-lived, because a few years later I cheated on her for an AUG A2, whom I am going to fail for an SSG 08. Do you think I can be trusted?
