  1. M, C, L and S Series
Before i commit myself to any firearm, It has to function and be reliable. I do not adhere to the you tube experts and always formulate my on opinion after some heavy testing. I know that we all have our opinions and in the gun world we seem to be brand specific and not quick to admit our chosen...

I searched "drop free" in this forum but came up craps. Any suggestions on making these mags drop free like my glocks? I had some serious trouble yesterday at our local IDPA match. Had to "rip" the mag out every damm time.

As I mentioned elsewhere, because I've moved away from the .40 caliber, I am hoping to trade my M40s for M9s once the classified section is working again. In the meantime, I've sold off a couple of other guns, and so I decided to modernize the Steyr collection: Yesterday I picked up an M9-A1...

TL,DR: I need a barrel for the Steyr M9 that is >6" and makes the overall length of the handgun >10.5". Do they make those? Hi guys, I live in the great People's Republic of California, where we have a roster of approved handguns. Because this requires the manufacturer to submit numerous...

So I was awoken this afternoon (worked night shift in ED last night) by my twin brother who could not stop RAVING about the Steyr Ma1 40 S&W I made him buy. He went on for minutes and said after the very first shot he was a fan and "in love." I am still waiting for mine to show up by mid...

Greetings everyone. This is my first post here. Yesterday I took delivery of a brand new PW Arms M9-A1 from Cabelas. Today, I took it out for a test ride and had an odd experience. I'm going to chalk this up to issues with the ammo, but maybe someone here has seen this before. I fired ten...

....cold as **** here but I'll be testing it at the outdoor range tomorrow! Joins the FN57 and Walther P22 in the range bag.....Looking forward to learning more about the gun on the forum...

I picked up a new c9-a1 and brought it to the range for the first time and had issues with the slide not locking back after firing the last round. i have two 15 round mags and it happens about 40% of the time, due to excitement of my new steyr and frustration of malfunction i wasn't aware of...

Just joined up so I could show you guys this. Hopefully it helps out as I know there are a lot of people having issues with these first generation stocks. Purchased my 7mm-08 from a pawn shop for $450, took it home and immidiately noticed the flexibility of the front portion of the stock. The...
  11. Caracal C and F Series
be aware that I had an unwanted discharge from my Caracal C after it fell from waist height position onto a cement floor. the gun impacted the on the rear of the gun and a round was discharged. As far as I know this should never happen because of the safeties, somehow they didn't work as planned.
  12. Caracal C and F Series
Many of you saw my first attempt here to review these pistols; well I re-shot it so hopefully it's a little smoother of a presentation... I've often posted here with high praise for the Caracal pistols so I figured I'd knock out a review of the guns with the Caracal C going first. The C model...

I don't know how many of you watch your own video's, but it's painful for me to watch some of mine, and this might be one of them. It's a bunch of clips edited together from my tear down and re-assembly. I spent time tinkering and studying parts. This isn't a public video, so I need to see if...

The SIG P229 was the first gun to be made exclusively in New Hampshire rather than Germany. US vs German made SIGs are a controversial subject in the SIG community but I don't care where the gun was made as long as it performs as I expect it to; and this gun does. I currently have about 600...

Well, after over 6 months of waiting, I've gotten to run my 10.5'' PSA upper on a real AR lower to see how it runs. I had been running it for a bit using a pistol lower but we all know that's no where near as much fun! So far, I've got nothing but good things to say about this upper...
  16. Other Handguns
I picked this gun up in 2010, put 100 rounds through it, and it's been in my carry rotation ever since. I generally shoot one magazine through the gun every time I go to the range just to keep familiar with the gun but I don't particularly enjoy shooting it like I do my larger framed guns...
  17. Anything Else
A can of spray-on Fluid Film Lubricant was sent to me via a member on this forum, for testing on the Steyr M9/M9-A1. First impressions are: 1. Smells like food! 2. Pretty lubricious I applied it to the pistol, and fired a few hundred rounds. The pistol functioned fine, it still smelled like...
  18. Other Handguns
I've liked FN firearms since I was in basic training and first got the opportunity to get behind what may be my favorite gun of all time––-the M240B. Unfortunately, I can't have one of those in my personal collection so I've been collecting their handguns, rifles, and shotguns ever since...

Many devout fans of the 10mm love their Glock 20, myself included. So when I heard the Generation 4 version was released, I jumped at the chance to pick one up. I really like the Gen 4 grip on my other Glocks and I thought it would be especially helpful with the recoil of some hot 10mm...
