  1. M, C, L and S Series
I almost did not get this pistol because of all the problem threads posted here. My M9 is 100% reliable after 200 rds fired out of the box and will group 3"@25 yds. highly recommended.

check this out! The guy is lucky he has a hand left. http://www.czfirearms.us/index.php?topic=54782.0
  3. M, C, L and S Series
Background: My first non-issue firearm was a Steyr M9-A1 circa Christmas, 2007. I loved the handgun, though I did have the old "short" magazine spring issue, and Jeff was kind enough to send me a replacement extractor upgrade. Later, when SAI dropped the M9 line from the market, I ditched the...
  4. M, C, L and S Series
So, I read the article on Steyr's website on the C series pistols, and kinda fell in love, which led to me buying my very own Steyr several months ago. That article paired it up with a Viridian C5L light/laser combo, and after some reading, I really like the sound of the green laser, and I...

Hi from Texas. Took the M40 out back yesterday and I am impressed! (Like sampling a fine wine for the first time)
  6. M, C, L and S Series
I guess I now have $5000 Steyrs in my vault now that the CA DOJ does not have them on the list any more. (in my head they are worth the price.) Guess that is what happens when I let my attention on the my state's still laws and list lapse in favor of work. Too bad too. I too the M40A1 out...
  7. New Member Introductions
I am glad to be on here. This seems like a good group of gun experts. I can't wait for the next gun show to come to Fort Worth so I can finally hold a steyr m9,s9 or c9. No one in dfw seems to have them.
  8. New Member Introductions
Hi everyone, I'm a new member from Ohio. I have had my eye on the M40 A1 for some time now. I have decided to make the move and purchase this gun. I am in the process of shopping around and getting prices. I can't wait to get this gun. I also do my own reloading and like the fact that the...

  10. Caracal C and F Series
Hi guys, Not sure if this was discussed before, but I was wondering if there any parts are available for the Caracal's in US ? Was anybody able to find a local source of the roll pins ? Just want to make sure that the product is really supported in US before I pulled the trigger Thanks in...
  11. M, C, L and S Series
Hello all, new member here. I wanted a Steyr M from the moment I found out about them, but that was during the time they were no longer being imported, and I didn't want to get into an unsupported weapon system. I went with Glock. I realize now that almost all of the modifications (grip...
  12. M, C, L and S Series
Well after about an 8 month wait I finally got my S40 back from Steyr. Well not exactly my Steyr S40 but a NIB replacement. I have not shot it yet and am questioning if I want to keep it. Steyr still seems to be on the flaky side. They are not really setup yet but seem to be making progress...
  13. M, C, L and S Series
It seems like there is always a discussion going about the Glock kaBoom issue. It's probably gotten way overblown (pardon the pun), but it got me wondering if anyone has ever heard of a Steyr going kB! I know about Steyr's improved design with the fully-supported chamber, etc. But has anyone...
  14. M, C, L and S Series
Can M9's handle +p or higher ammo? What about lead bullets? Are they sensitive to them Like Glocks? Has anyone ever tried one of the 6inch barrels from IGB?
  15. Anything Else
Hi, I'm a G19 user since I can remember. I test a Steyr M9 & I love it. Before buying my own, I have a big doubt. In the pool more than 70% of the people love it anda use for as CCW. BUT more than 20 NOT. RELIABILITY: this is my concern, 1. different types of ammo 2. cleaning and aso on. ¿Is...

I'm pretty certain I've seen some of our members with some Saiga 12 Gauges and I was wondering what the impression of those members where of the shotgun? In addition, does anyone know whether it is possible to get a Saiga 12k variant or the parts to convert one? Thanks guys
  17. M, C, L and S Series
According to the USA Steyr web page, the M-series mags work for both 9mm and .40 SW: "This Magazine will work will the following calibers: .40 S&W 12 Round and .9mm 14 Round". Is that accurate? Can I load my M9 mags with .40 cartridges & then shoot them in a M40?
  18. M, C, L and S Series
can anyone tell me what the grip angle is on the Walther P99 comared to the steyr? Thanks.
  19. M, C, L and S Series
Have some one heared about Steyr kaboomed. I found plenty of information about Glock and HK kabooms but nothing about Steyr pistols. well I think many of you are familar with the http://www.thegunzone.com. and the battle between the owner of this site and active members from Glocktalk
  20. Anything Else
Well, ER's pleaded guilty and released his manifesto -- http://www.tallahassee.com/mld/tallahas ... tstory.jsp Since more than a few here take the SHTF scenario seriously enough to plan for it, I'm curious about your thoughts on Rudolph's five years in the woods... It seems from the text it...
