Are the triggers the same for the Model M/S/L the same as the SSG 69? I picked up an older Model M '06 yesterday with the type 1 non adjustable trigger. It would be fine for bench work but at under 1.5 pounds its too light in general. Steyr said I could buy the type 2 for bukoo bucks, but I see...
Here's the set-up.
Steyr M357-A1, excellent condition. Functions 100% in every way - but one.
Georgia Arms Canned Heat factory reloaded .357 SIG FMJ ammo.
When fired, somewhere through a magazine, the gun will begin producing light primer strikes to the point it will not fire. Gun field...
My eldest daughter loves my M40-A1 but does not like the recoil. So this weekend she bought an 2004 M9 at the local gun show. We took it home and I showed her how to clean and lube it. We fired it at the range today. She loves it, but with all three mags. the slide would not lock open...
I recently acquired a new S9-A1 which was manufactured in 09/2012. The firing pin spring was coated with some sort of red lubricant paste. Does anyone know exactly what it is?
FWIW, I put it's first 200 rounds (Federal 115 grain FMJ RN) through it last week. With the exception of shooting a bit...
Does anyone else get a dark carbon streak on one side of their brass almost the entire length of the case after firing? I was just wondering if this is a common occurrence with the M9 or if it is just mine. Or maybe it's from the ammo I'm using.
I'm new to this forum. I am generally on " Calguns.net". A fellow "calgunner" recommended me to sell my mag on this sight.
So here goes.
I'm selling my M40 A1, 10rnd factory magazine for $30 shipped to you.
Magazine is in great condition.
I have a stellar rating on Calguns.net...
Does this seem normal to you guys? This is a loaded gun with only a slight amount of pressure put on the front of the slide. It will hold back and stay held back. This gun was mfg. November of 2012. The trigger is also 7lb 11oz average by my lyman digital scale. What's up with this thing?
I'm debating buying an extended, ported (maybe comp'ed) match barrel for my M9-A1, anyone know who makes/sells them? (I know Steyr offers threaded replacement barrels but I haven't seen what I'm looking for from Steyr)
I've checked with;
BarSto (they said "no")
StormLake (they said "no")
I am thinking of getting a precision rifle in 308Win.
I looked through SSG69, SSG04, CZ750, TRG22, FN A3G, and even Blazer Tac2.
I found that CZ750 and SSG04 are probably best choices for me.
But I heard that SSG04 stock is not good. Some guys even reported cracked stock.
I know that McMillan...
Is this normal?
Before I stir up a storm with the on-line guy from whence this gun came, I thought I'd ask you guys
I just received, today, my "new" M9-A1 Steyr pistol NIB, still had factory grease on rails, etc.
but . . unlike any other pistol I've ever purchased (and I have Glocks...
TL,DR: I need a barrel for the Steyr M9 that is >6" and makes the overall length of the handgun >10.5". Do they make those?
Hi guys, I live in the great People's Republic of California, where we have a roster of approved handguns. Because this requires the manufacturer to submit numerous...
Okay, so in the thread below, I have chronicled my S&W PPK. Now on to the other PPK (I have two). Will try to make a long story short. Got it at a pawnshop as it was advertised as a Pre-War. I memorized the serial number, went home and confirmed it was made in 1935. No problems there. Only...
Thought I would share a few places that look to have mags in stock since the political insanity is making it difficult to find them.
