  1. New Member Check-In
Howdy, folks. I guess I joined this forum awhile back when doing research on Steyrs. Since then, I've been looking for a used one (because I'm cheap) with no luck -- until today! I fell in love with the gun a couple years ago when I picked up one at a pawn shop and looked down the sights. I was...
  2. Other Handguns
The Beretta 90-Two (usually called the "dash-2" for short) was an attempt to improve upon some of the complaints about the original M9/92FS series firearms. It added a standard picatinny rail, internal buffer for increased recoil absorption, dovetailed front sight, captured guide rod, and...
  3. Other Rifles
Hi everyone, I am new to this site and had a few questions about my Mlll. I have had this gun for about 12 years. It is a great gun, lightweight and very accurate. This has been a discontinued model for many years, and I was wondering where I could find additional magazines. I could only find...
  4. M, C, L and S Series
The new CDNN catalog is out (2006-1). No more Steyrs are listed. http://www.cdnninvestments.com/dowournewcat.html
  5. M, C, L and S Series
This was posted over at glocktalk.com and someone from CDNN susposibly stated there are only 2 Steyr's left. They come with 1 full capasity mag and 3 10 rds if I remember correctly from what was posted. I thought about it, but I don't have the money for them right now. These may be the last...
  6. M, C, L and S Series
Is there a laser available for the M40. I have a M40 without the rails... it has 2 indents on each side instead of the rails. Thanks
  7. M, C, L and S Series
the s9 has what ressembles accessory rails. does anyone know what purpose they serve?
  8. Holsters
Hi guys, I am new to this board and just ordered a m9 from CDNN today. I shoot IDPA and I am looking for a Kydex paddle holster. Who has the least expensive, decent quality and in stock holster at this time? I have read alot of the links and other posts/threads and cannot make up my mind. I...
  9. M, C, L and S Series
Or so I hope, anyway. Since I cannot find any S40 mags anywhere (so I can modify them for 12 rounds of 9mm), I have switched gears. I just placed an order with CDNN for some mags, including an M9 hi-cap (will be "sacrificed") and an M40 10 rounder. I'm 99% sure that if I take the butt plate...
  10. M, C, L and S Series
For those of us who are relatively new to Steyrs, can somebody give a run down on the naming conventions. Why an "M" series? ("S" for sub-compact makes sense to me). What would make something an "L"? What other letters have there been? Will there be? Inquiring minds want to know.... Thanks! Jim
