Hello all!! I am a new proud owner of s Steyer S40 A1 and I have to say that I am very impressed with the gun. I took possession of it this past wed and took it to the range today. Put 200 rounds of that white box winchester 100 rnd box without ANY issues at all. It is the most accurate gun I've...

Hey guys I'm new here and have a question! I joined here because I'm very interested in the Steyr M9A1. BUT, I can't find it for sale anywhere online. Does anyone know where I can pick one up in the next few months?
Hello everyone, first post here. I am hoping some of you here can offer some suggestions. I stopped by Cabela's tonight and took a look at the S-A1. To make a long story short, they fit me like a glove. I was able to put both a 9mm and 40 cal on hold for 5 days while I decide what to do. I...
Maintenance / Tweaks / Technical Difficulties / So
Hello, dear friends
I am a newbie on this forum. I have got a Steyr M A1. I like it very much, but have some questions about the maintenance.
For example, now I have got to replace the ejector on the sub-frame but don't know what to do exactly (there is no tutorials for it, I mean for the...
be aware that I had an unwanted discharge from my Caracal C after it fell from waist height position onto a cement floor.
the gun impacted the on the rear of the gun and a round was discharged.
As far as I know this should never happen because of the safeties, somehow they didn't work as planned.
I picked up my new M9 (one of the Redmond, WA versions)as well as some Tula ammo (aluminum case) and some of my reloads from 1995. The gun is a great fit in my hand and it was quite pleasant to shoot. The Tula ammo didn't do well - 4 FTEs out of 50. The reloads, on the other hand, fed...
Traded into a slightly experienced A1 model last week. Took her to the range today for a maiden run...I shot an AUG for the first time.
The performance was stunning.
I won't miss that Chinese Legend wench; not in the least. These five shot groups were shot from a sand-bagged bench at 25, 50...
Hi everyone. This is my first post as I recently (last night) purchased a used M40-A1 from Gunbroker. I have not yet received it, but I like the looks and the features, so I figured - what the heck. Anyway, what can I expect when I get it and what should I look for as it really is sight unseen...
I am new so any help will do. I am looking for a speed load for above model, also if anyone knows where I can also locate another key to turn on/off safety.

since 40 cal still cost quite a bit more than 9mm, it might make sense to do a 40-->9conversion to shoot the less expensive 9mm. What is involved? Can I just get a $300 factory threaded barrel and some 9mm mags, pop them in and call it good? (like how you'd convert a glock, you know....)
Wichita PD decides to move away from .40S&W and back to 9mm, citing advances in bullet technologies that levels the playing field with regard to terminal ballistics. They are also issuing AR-15 rifles to all officers, citing emerging trends in active-shooter response tactics as well as some...
Hi everyone, I'm a new member from Ohio. I have had my eye on the M40 A1 for some time now. I have decided to make the move and purchase this gun. I am in the process of shopping around and getting prices. I can't wait to get this gun. I also do my own reloading and like the fact that the...
