I recently purchased a Steyr Hunting 5 Automatic and want to learn more about it. I just found this forum, so I hope to make new friends and benefit from other members' experiences and knowledge.
I live just north of Austin, Texas.
As a couple of you know, I just recently bought a Steyr S40-A1 last week when I was lucky enough to find just one shop in town that had a Styer and luckily it was just what I was looking for: an S40-A1.
But enough chit chat, on to how the Steyr did this weekend! I went to the range Saturday...
after a long wait we finally got our new old M-9 out of the military depot in the domenican republic.
it had the slightest corrosion and came with one 10-round magazine, which should be sufficient for self-defence.
luckily some soldier sold us 100 rounds of aguilla 124grain luger...
Does Steyr have an internal lock that can be changed to use a standard handcuff key instead of the goofy 2 key prong that can be opened with 2 straight objects?
If so how can I order this and what would this cost me?
How hard would it be for me to change this part? I haven't seen any good take...
