      Quick question...what's the cheapest way to make a S357-A1 with a S9-A1?

I am new to the Steyr M9A1 having just acquired an M9A1 this week. I got the gun NIB with two magazines, case and cleaning kit from Cabela's for $399.99. It is marked PW Arms Redmond Washington. The serial is 041479, don't know if that is early or late. I lubed it with Tetra according to the manual and went to the range. I was using Winchester NATO ball and Federal 115 gr fmj. The gun was a pleasure to shoot and accurate. I particularly liked the sights. I shot 60 rounds using each magazine twice. The gun failed to eject 3 times, with each type of ammo and both magazines. Has this problem been solved? Is factory support available or are these guns " orphans"? Any info would be appreciated!

Thank you. I'm loving the feel of the C9. I'm hoping to make it to the range Saturday, so I can get some rounds through it...I'll keep you posted on that.

I'm researching the Prexis stuff now. I'd go with the 7.62 upper because if you shoot it much, I don't think you'll ever recover the difference in ammo costs 'tween surplus Tok ammo ($0.07/round) and 5.7 ammo ($0.36/round buying bulk) versus the possible resale value. You'll especially never recover the ammo cost difference if you put that upper in slide-fire equipped lower. ;)

I don't know why but I only just now saw your message. The link is dead. What was it linked to?
