Although the Administrators and Moderators of the Steyr Club will attempt to keep all objectionable messages off this forum, we cannot be responsible for message content. All messages express the views of the author. The owners or the representatives of the Steyr Club may remove, edit, move, or close topics they feel do not follow the rules.

We are proud of the fact that despite of our growing numbers we continue to remain extremely friendly to both new members and regular visitors. When posting in the forum keep the following in mind:

1. Do not post any messages that are obscene, vulgar, sexually-orientated, racist, hateful, threatening, or otherwise violative of any laws. Obscene and foul language will not be tolerated. Please keep your posts rated PG-13. Please use good judgement when choosing user names, avatars, or images to post. Inappropriate content will be removed without notice and the offending user may be banned temporarily. The discussion of illegal activities will not be tolerated.

2. Personal attacks, rudeness, insults to others, or arguments will not be tolerated. Challenge others' points of view and opinions, but do so respectfully and thoughtfully. Any member who threatens anyone on the forum, via PM, or Email, will be banned immediately without notice.

3. Do not post the same topic in more than one forum. Pick the most relevant forum for your post. If you are unsure, PM an admin or moderator saying you were not sure where it belonged, and someone will let you know what the proper forum is.

4. Ask your questions on the forums. The staff gets a large number of messages containing questions, and we do not have time to answer them all. Private messages should only be used for issues that cannot be discussed in the public forums.

5. If you are a commercial vendor and are interested in advertising, sign up for a Vendor Subscription. Our users love to support our vendors. After you are approved, we will give you access to post about your products in our forums and the Vendors For Sale section. You will also get your own forum to help manage your presence on Steyr Club. Selling in any forum other than the Classified area is only allowed when given permission from a moderator or site admin. Vendors also get all the benefits of being a club supporter.

6. If you want to help support the club and get access to premium features sign up here. The funds generated by supporters help us to keep the site running. By becoming a supporter you will not have to view any advertising on the site. Other perks are things like larger PM box limits, more Album storage space and the ability to put images in signatures. Keep in mind that selling in any forum other than the Classified area is only allowed when given permission from a moderator or site admin.

7. The Steyr Club is not responsible for anything you do as a result of information or advice obtained at this site. You should fully understand what a recommended change may do to your equipment.

8. Register using only one user name, and do not "flood" the board with posts that are off-topic. Creating multiple user accounts or flooding the board will be considered a denial-of-service attack on the forums and will result in your being banned from the forum and reported to your ISP.

9. Keep your avatars and other pictures rated PG-13. Avatars should not exceed the size of 150x150 pixels. If your avatar is too big a moderator or admin will remove it.

10. When adding images to discussion threads please use the attachment feature. This will upload your image to the server and add a thumbnail to your thread that users can click on the see the full-size image. Images that are too wide will disrupt the viewing area for some members and hinder their viewing experience. If you post an image that is too wide it will be removed. If you have higher resolution images that you would like to link to, please do so by using BBCode to create a link to them via a thumbnail image.
